What is BunnyClub?

FAQ

How does this work?

When you click on Counter-Strike 2's properties, and go into Betas, you'll find a beta titled "csgo_legacy." Launch this, and you can still play CS:GO offline to connect to community servers! Since VALVe disabled their servers, the goal of BunnyClub is to restore the more casual side of matchmaking!

some features may not work on launch, like your inventory.

How do I join the server?

Once you get whitelisted, you'll be able to see the IP. Just copy the text from the discord or steam group, and paste it in your console! (You'll be unable to join if you're not whitelisted, don't worry! We're very loose with the requirements.)

How can I use my inventory?

If you want to access your inventory in-game, open your CS2 local files, go to csgo\steam.inf, open it with Notepad, and change the "ClientVersion" and "ServerVersion" to 2000258, Once that's done, your inventory and community browser will work in-game.

is the server always on?

Unfortunately, no. As of writing this, you can only ask an admin to start the server for you. We are working on a solution.

If you have any suggestions or experience, we'd love your help! Our server is focused on being community-driven, so support is appreciated, but not necessary.

Why am I getting stuck on downloading a map?

For some users, our server does not permit downloading of maps while in the server. To avoid getting stuck like this, download this .zip and move it's contents to ...\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps.

You can check the Discord for more support.

If someones behavior is upsetting or breaking the rules, what do I do?

  1. Take a screenshot.
Without any sort of proof, in most cases, we will ignore you.
  2. Open a support ticket.
If you feel uncomfortable doing this, direct message a moderator.
  3. Finally.. it will be handled!
Confrontation is the worst thing you could do if someones upset. If there's a situation, we will handle it behind the scenes.
  4. in the rare event a moderator makes you feel even worse, contact Flynn

Does this work on macOS or Linux?

  • macOS, probably!
  • Linux, it seems VALVe has gone out of their way to make beta participation for Legacy CS:GO impossible. Finding a workaround to this is up to you.
  • Trust us, we've tried...

Thanks to everyone who's contributed to this project, and will continue to!
